Huis 5-kamers 80 m2 op 2 verdiepingen. Zeer comfortabel en gezellig ingericht: 1 kamer met 2 bedden. 1 kamer met 1 x 2 stapelbedden. Keuken (4-pits kookplaat, oven, afwasmachine, magnetron) met bar, zwedenkachel. Douche/WC. Bovenverdieping: woonkamer, met afgeschuinde daken met TV, stereo-installatie en DVD. 1 kamer met afgeschuinde daken met 1 2-pers bed. Bad/WC. Olie-verwarming. Mooi uitzicht. Ter beschikking: wasmachine. Internet (Internet (WiFi), gratis). Maximaal 1 klein huisdier/hond toegestaan. TV alleen EN.

Haverfordwest 3 km van St Davids: Rustieke, comfortabele cottage "The Pump", van 2 verdiepingen, bouwjaar 1899. 500 m van zee, 500 m van het strand, te midden van groen. Voor alleengebruik: tuin met gazon, parkeerplaats bij het huis. Levensmiddelenwinkel 2 km, restaurant 2 km, bar 1 km, bushalte "Fachelich Turn" 1 km, zandstrand 2 km, rotsstrand 500 m. Golfterrein (18 holes) 7 km. Ideaal gelegen voor wandelaars, 30 minuten lopen naar Solva en 1 uur van St Davids af. Het is vlakbij de A487 gelegen, met een pad dat rechtstreeks naar een rotsachtige grot en een kustweg leidt.

Plaatsbeschrijving St Davids

Bekende, gezinsvriendelijke, plaats 2 km van zee met mooi uitzicht, 26 km ten noordwesten van Haverfordwest, 26 km ten zuidwesten van Fishguard, 175 km ten noordwesten van Cardiff. Allerlei faciliteiten in de plaats. Er wordt in St Davids veel georganiseerd: muziekfestivals, kunst- en nijverheidstentoonstellingen, openlucht theater. Er zijn vier zandstranden en een voetpad langs de kust. Boottochtjes naar Ramsey Island. Winkels, pubs en restaurants in de plaats. Mogelijkheden voor het maken van uitstapjes in de omgeving.

Amazing place. Highly recommend. House is big, comfortable, comfy an spacious. Short walk to the sea. Plenty of places to visit around. To do things around the area can be found in house. Lovely people as well. 25 stars

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pump. The accommodation is very well appointed and extremely comfortable, we could not have asked the more. Its location is ideally placed for the Coastal Path and visiting local attractions.

We all really enjoyed Pro: Perfect location...\nEasy check-in, the chap was there to hand over. Very clean & everything supplied. Even a veg box, milk & Welsh cakes. Nice little touch. # Contra: Very uncomfortable chairs in living room but there was one good chair in kitchen.

The cottage was in a lovely area , with a nice pretty garden , even in Febuary. It was every thing we hoped for & more. Very well equiped with every you would need .lots of brochers & info about the property & surrounding areas, places to eat & places of interest.Loved iur stay very much , & hopefully will be returning but in the warmer months .

Highly recommend for those wanting a good base for adventuring, the coastal path is right at your doorstep, the nearest towns have restaurants and shops. The property is cosy, warm and the owner goes above and beyond to accommodate. We were greeted with tea, coffee, sugar, a box full of fresh vegetables, a small milk, orange juice and a wood supply for the log burner. Kitchen/cooking facilities were spot on, 2 bathrooms with towels provided, 3 small but comfy bedrooms with bed linen. Thank you x

From the location close to the rugged coast and the historic nature of the building, to the basket of fresh vegetables and the milk and juice ready in the fridge, this was a special place to spend our holiday. The host had taken care to provide all we would need. Two of the party needed to 'work from home' during the trip, and the upstairs lounge and downstairs dining area provided the separate space they needed - we found the internet connection was fine too. We were delighted with our stay.

Enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well equipped cottage, cosy and spacious. Appreciated the welcome pack, milk, tea, coffee, Welsh cakes, veg etc. Very thoughtful owners lived nearby. The location was ideal for walking the coat path or catching a bus to St David S or Solva if you were less energetic.

A beautiful well appointed and spotlessly clean cottage. Equipped with everything you could need, almost like home from home. Lovely welcome fruit basket, tea/coffee supplies and fresh vegetables from the farm. Good walks to the coast and a short drive to pubs/restaurants in St Davids and Solva. I would highly recommend.

What a great place with full of history. Really nice configuration and you can see they made the most of the space. Kitchen dis ownstairs and living room upstairs- my personal preference is to have them in the same level. Bedrooms on the small side, but we only used them for sleeping and spent most days exploring. Kitchen very functional with all you need. Lovely touch from the owner to leave a large basket of vegetables, tea/coffee, milk, juice. Close to a shingles beach 5-10 mins walk.

The Pump is very well located to enjoy beautiful Solva, St David’s and further afield. We were greeted by Douglas who showed us around the house and gardens. Our host very thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and veg from the farm shop, and fresh milk which was a lovely touch. We also made full use of the beach equipment and barbecue available in the shed. We enjoyed our stay, making the most of the local coastal walks and easy access to the St David’s Peninsula.
